  • Favorite Country Video – Katy Did
  • Favorite Crossover Artist or Band
  • Favorite Mainstream Single – Forever and a Day

According to Larry Weir, CEO of the Independent Music Network, Jimmy’s eight nominations last night is the most nominations an artist has earned in the history of the IMN Awards.

Winners will be announced January 13, 2012 at www.independentmusicnetwork.com

“I don’t do my music for awards, but it is very gratifying to be awarded with such honors and recognition,” joyfully expresses White. “I have always loved making music and these nominations are like a pat on the back from people I respect, telling me I did a good job. Its something I appreciate very much.”

In recent years, acclaimed singer/songwriter White has garnered an impressive three New Music awards, along with two Best Male Artist awards from the IMN. He also accepted a Best AC Group/Duo award in 2010 with powerhouse vocalist and Music City favorite Jonell Mosser for their hit “Just What I Need.”

In his impressive thirty year career, White has reached #1 more than a dozen times on the Independent AC Charts and four times on the National AC charts. White has also charted three times in the Billboard AC Top 40 and 4 times in the FMQB AC Top 10.

His 26 song, double disc album Two Cities, which he recorded in Nashville, TN and Buffalo NY was released in September and is available for download on I-Tunes.

A project dear to Jimmy, Bands 4 Bella, is a CD project benefiting the Bella Moss Foundation to raise awareness about the dangers of MRSA. White wrote and recorded Good Friends Are Hard to Find to pay tribute to his pet cat Smoke, who passed away with complications resulting from diabetes.
